Irish potato harvest 🥔

When those plants start to look yellow and die back/wilt, the potatoes are ready! Some beautiful big ones this year. These are Yukon Gold variety.

The sweet potato plants have settled in nicely and are starting to put out leaves!

Here's your reminder to leave those native flowers around!! Though these may look like weeds, they have more nectar and support native pollinators in a way non-native flowers can't.

This chicory is perennial (will come back year after year) and was spotted being visited by honeybees all morning.

More native pollinators equal more fruits & vegetables and a healthier ecosystem

It was just an awesome day complete with beautiful weather, great music, good food, fellowship and so much fun! We were so blessed to be able to welcome you all to the farm! The Plowboys did an amazing job lining everything up for the festival and God was glorified. Thank you SO MUCH to every friend and family member who called, volunteered, and showed up to help us, from dawn till dusk!! This turned out so well only because of every one of you! We are humbled to have such a great team surrounding us that gave life to our dream of hosting Gospel on the Farm ❤️

Our favorites of the day: Mike singing with Authentic Unlimited, and It Is Well With my Soul by the Plowboys at closing!
