We did the long post when we announced our closure, so we’ll keep this one short(er). Join us today with our incredible staff, 12-close, for our last day celebration. Cry In Your Beer Potluck starts at 12, feel free to bring a food share, no worries if not, we are just happy that you’re here. Boulder’s will be playing Southern Appalachian music 4-7. Beers will flow and we have limited 2023 The Dark Space Between Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout for memories in a bottle to take home.
We are humbled to have been able to create and share our hand-crafted beer with you and for the community and memories we all built together. It’s not goodbye, it’s just so long.

It is with broken hearts that we announce the upcoming closure of Over Yonder.

Despite our deep desire to remain open and continue creating unique and delectable craft beer for this incredible community, we’ve reached a point where continuing operations is no longer sustainable. We explored every possible path to stay open, but unfortunately, with the challenges including doing business in an area that’s been especially tough on small, independent operators, those efforts didn’t lead to a viable solution.

This outcome is not what we want, and it’s deeply painful. Over Yonder has always been more than a brewery. It's a place for community, music, creativity, dogs, joy, and connection. We are incredibly grateful for our staff - for their synergy, guest connections, exceptional taproom service, ideas, talents, and their passion for Over Yonder beer and the craft beer industry as a whole.

It’s difficult to imagine not being in our beloved brewhouse on a brew day, taking in the sweet smells of the grains or the fresh hop aromas while we dry-hop. We poured everything we had into making Over Yonder the extraordinary small independent artisan brewery that it is, and we are devastated.

We’re still processing the weight of this moment, and we ask for your understanding and grace as we navigate our last days. This past Saturday night, during Phish N3 Folsom, the lyric “everything’s right, so just hold tight” hit us in a whole new way. And we’re holding on to that, grateful for what we’ve shared with all of you.

To everyone who visited, supported, collaborated, or simply cheered us on: thank you. Your presence made Over Yonder what it was. It’s been an honor and a joy to build something with you.

Our taproom’s final day of being open will be July 20. We want to share in the groove with you our last Open Bluegrass Pick, trivia, live music, Phish livestreams, and our signature pre-SCI Red Rocks Shakedown Street Art Market, all within the next 11 days.

Today, we release our final new beer in true Over Yonder long-Phish-inspired-name fashion, This Has All Been Wonderful, But Now We’re On Our Way Amber.

We’d love to see you in the taproom to raise a glass, enjoy the brews, the music, the art, share memories, and celebrate what we built together.

We’re open July 4th at 12pm as usual. If everyone leaves for and 🎆 before 9pm, perhaps we’ll close a bit early but as of now, Friday vibes as usual and the closest brewery to Red Rocks for pre-holiday meetups! Stock up on all your favs in cans for the long weekend adventures.
