🐴 Welcome to Cross Winds Ranch 🐴

We are a small, family-oriented barn where family, safety, and creating a positive environment are our #1 priorities.

Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming place for both kids and adults to enjoy their horses, learn, ride, and spend time together. We love the close-knit feel of a smaller barn and want our boarders to feel comfortable, included, and part of the Cross Winds Ranch family.

We offer boarding options for those looking for a relaxed, family-type setting rather than a large, busy boarding facility.

With spacious stalls, an indoor arena, and a peaceful country setting just a couple miles from town, Cross Winds Ranch is a great place to enjoy your horse year-round.

Winter boarding is currently available, starting at $285/month.

When one of your very first boarders moves across the country, it only feels right to be the ones to help move the horses. ❤️

Kurtis and I just returned from transporting six miniature horses all the way to Indiana.

These sweet little horses—and their owner—have been such a special part of our journey. While we’ll miss having them around, we’re so excited for this new chapter in their lives.

Wishing them safe travels, happy trails, and all the best as they settle into their new home. The best part? She’s finally back home with her kids and grandkids. 🤩❤️

🐴 It’s been a while, so we thought it was time to reintroduce ourselves!

We are the Vaughn / West Family, proud owners of the beautiful Cross Winds Ranch formerly known as White Horse Vale, which we purchased in the fall of 2019.

We are busy parents (and Mema!) to four amazing girls. They are perfect, just kidding, they absolutely are not. But they are strong, kind, hardworking individuals and we couldn’t be prouder of who they are becoming.

About two years ago we welcomed Hannah Davis into our barn family. Since then she has built an incredible lesson and training program that continues to grow. Hannah has become a huge asset to our community, helping many riders gain confidence, build skills, and move forward to become successful horsemen and women.
