When you're in the middle of rut and it's still 90 degrees out... you cool off like royalty.
Our bull reindeer are full of swagger this time of year. Fueled by hormones and heat, they get a little bold, a little dramaticā€”and a whole lot mischievous. This guy decided the water bunk wasnā€™t just for drinking... it was his personal throne.
During rut, bulls show off their strength, strut their stuff, and sometimes cause a little chaos. Whether itā€™s sparring with a rival or claiming the best ā€œcool downā€ spot, theyā€™re always putting on a show.
Long live the (very damp) king.
