First fresheners are always a good time! This is Jammer, she was in our birthing video as well. First time milking her and it really didn't go too badly. I've had worse to be honest, very rarely does a doe stand still for her first milking. It's something you train them to do and why a trained milking doe is worth her weight in gold. Pardon the afterbirth, after a couple hours it comes out on its own but I couldn't wait that long to feed the kids. So, we show you how it is in real life.

This guy loves to work! Even at 2 years old he's trying to use the big guy tools. This is a broadfork that weighs more than he does. But he's giving it a go anyway.

The strength of character to become just enough of a monster to achieve your goals without losing your soul is rare. Be the monster you need to be. Tri will still occasionally wonder if he's taking us in the right direction as a family, even comparing himself too Harrison Ford in Mosquito Coast if you know the reference. Feeling like he's become a monster by dragging us along on some mission no one else can see or wants. His mental struggle is valid, when you have a dream so strong, something you believe in to your core, something that may even mean life and death for your family, it can be too much for weak people. This is the monster we as a family need though. The guiding hands showing us a better way to live when everyone outside thinks you're a monster. Isn't an easy burden to carry. Pick your apocalypse partner wisely.

Did you know a baby goat is called a kid? This time of year the herd's population jumps dramatically. We have 10 kids out of 6 does. 4 had twins, 2 had singles. Of those 10 kids, 7 of them are bucks! That's s pretty high boy to girl ratio for us. It's great news for our pack goat customers though! If you're in the Pacific Northwest come check us out!
