Today is the day!! Please drop off your grocery donations at the back door of the legion between 4:30 - 5:30. Your generosity is feeding our community - thank you!!

We will see you all tomorrow night from 5:00–6:00 PM! 🥕🍞🥬

Every week we're excited to welcome new families, and we get to teach them "the ropes." We try not to have a long list of rules because, honestly, life has enough of those already. 😄

We do have one important request:

🥦 Please go through the fresh food line just ONE time per household.

We restock the counter after each family goes through so there's a nice selection for the next family—not so the same family can come back for round two. We know those fresh goodies are tempting (trust us, we'd want extra strawberries too! 🍓), but
every second trip means another family may have less to choose from.

We love seeing everyone right at 5:00, but we also have families who can't make it until 5:55. We want them to have the same opportunity to take home fresh food as those who arrived earlier.

So whether this is your very first visit or you've been with us since the beginning, please come through the fresh food area one time with your household so we can make sure everyone has a fair chance.

Thank you for helping us keep our pantry kind, fair, and full of community spirit. We truly appreciate each and every one of you, and we can't wait to see you tomorrow!

Special hours for the Goldfield Community Food Closet tomorrow Tuesday 5/12 due to room rental. We will be open to serve you from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. We will NOT be open in the evening.

📢 Important Update from the Goldfield Food Closet 📢

To better serve our community, the Goldfield Food Closet will be changing our hours. Due to donation drop-off days and timing, we will now be open on Tuesday evenings from 5:00–6:00 PM.

This change will help us get donations out into the community more quickly—while they are still fresh and ready to use!

🛍️ Friendly reminder: Please try to bring your own shopping bags to carry your groceries home.
