THURSDAY --CLOSED for prepping to celebrate our INDEPENDENCE the next two days (DON'T WORRY we got one with Fireworks Over Wayne next week too!! 😍)
FRIDAY -- Seymour Johnson AFB FIREWORKS and CELEBRATION at Debden Park from 5pm until 9:??PM
SATURDAY -- Greater Pikeville Improvement Committee FIREWORKS and CELEBRATION at Dee Park from 4pm-9:??pm

🇺🇸 A PATRIOTIC TRIBUTE TO THOSE WHO SERVED 🇺🇸

As we celebrate America's 250th Birthday and Pikeville's 135th Anniversary, Freedom Fireworks 2026 will be more than just an evening of fireworks, food, and entertainment—it will be a heartfelt tribute to the veterans and service members who have helped preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.

This year, we are honored to present several special patriotic ceremonies and recognitions throughout the evening, including:

🔥 A Dignified Flag Retirement Ceremony for the American flag that have proudly flown over the Veterans Memorial at Dee's Memorial Park.

🇺🇸 The Posting of the Colors featuring a new American Flag and North Carolina State Flag that were recently flown over the North Carolina State Capitol in honor of the veterans recognized at Dee's Memorial Park.

✈️ A Special Flyover by the Bull's Eye Flight Team, celebrating our nation's military heritage and the proud connection our community shares with nearby Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

🎖️ Recognition of Veterans and Active-Duty Service Members, including special recognition of Wayne County's oldest living resident and veteran.

As we gather beneath the red, white, and blue skies of Freedom Fireworks 2026, we invite everyone to pause and remember the men and women who have worn our nation's uniform and defended the freedoms we hold dear.
