Good morning! Spent the day yesterday canning pickled Brussel sprouts. Did 29 pints. Five didn't seal so looks like I'm reprocessing those. Hope they come out good! 😊

We have an abundance of lettuce coming out of the garden- so tonight it's chef salad for dinner 😁😋

Hard to see but we have a nest with baby cardinals in it. I heard them crying and looked up, the mama was feeding them. That's how I know they are cardinals lol. 🥰

This garlic is nearly ready to dig. I LOVE garlic! If you like garlic and haven't tried it roasted, you're missing out. 😊

Last year my grandson brought home a sunflower he had sprouted at school. We helped him plant it and he was so proud when it grew tall. This year a sunflower voluntarily sprouted in the same pot- my grandson was so excited that his sunflower "had a baby" ☺️☺️
One of the things I love about homesteading is being able to see the wonder and excitement in my grandchildren's eyes. ❤️❤️
