Transition is happening. The kids are growing, stretched into their own lives right before my eyes. Our family feels stronger than ever. Life is good… but it’s a little wild right now.

I’m up in New York, soaking in every bit of it—the quiet, the beauty, the fresh perspective—getting ready for this next big move. There’s a lot unknown, but there’s also a lot to look forward to.

I’m stepping into this next year with excitement, trying to stay grounded through it all—for myself and for my family. Holding onto the simple things, the steady things, the things that matter most.

When I really stop and look around, I realize I already have everything I need.
My family—my rocks.
My friends—my sanity.
And this life Tucker & I have built… wild, real, and full of purpose. That’s my church. That’s my faith. That’s my spiritual reality.

Here’s to embracing the chaos, trusting the process, and being grateful every step of the way.

I was playing around with google photos while I was waiting for my tires to be put on my car and this one stopped me right in my tracks.......so I figured I’d share it with you like a little reading for the day.

Strength & Abundance showed up.

Not the kind of strength that’s loud or forceful… but the quiet kind. The kind you build slowly, day by day. The kind that comes from putting your hands in the dirt, feeling the sun on your skin, and nourishing your body with real, living food.

This card feels like a reminder: Slow down. Get outside. Drink something that actually fuels you. Stand in the sunlight a little longer than you normally would.

There is power in the simple things. Raw milk. Fresh air. Connection—to the land, to your people, to yourself.

When we come back to those roots, something shifts. Your mind gets clearer. Your body feels stronger. Your soul softens.

And from that place… abundance grows.

Not just in what you have—but in how you feel. Calmness. Friendships that matter. Love that feels steady and real.

Maybe today is just about that. Tuning back in. Letting the earth do what it’s always done—restore, balance, and build us back up.

Take what you need from this.

It’s mornings like this that remind us why we do what we do—and it always comes back to you.

We are truly grateful for every single one of you who shows up, supports our farm, fills your coolers, shares our posts, and believes in what we’re building here at Lilly Den Farm. You’re not just customers—you’re part of this story, and we don’t take that lightly.

We’ll be in Southern Pines on Air Tool Drive today from 1:00–2:30 (or until we’re sold out), and if the past few weeks are any indication…don’t wait too long.

Beef Bone Sale – $3/lb We’ve got:

What a beautiful morning on the farm—and we are feeling incredibly grateful.

Our dairy and meat sales have been amazing lately, and we truly feel the love from this community. Thank you for supporting us through:

• Tucker’s healing
• Our transition as we pass the farm to the next generation
• Our upcoming move to New York

Friday, May 1st Update:

We are officially sold out of milk at the farm store today.

BUT—
We will be in Southern Pines today at 565 Air Tool Dr with dairy, eggs, meat, and baked goods.
First come, first serve and we will most likely sell out.

If you miss us today, don’t worry—
The farm store will be fully restocked tomorrow morning. Everyone is welcome to shop at the farm!

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for keeping this little farm going strong.

Four ladies, one front pasture, and a whole lot of personality ☀️

An Ayrshire, two Guernseys, and a Brown Swiss… soaking up the sunshine like they own the place (because honestly… they do). Big, beautiful giants—some sweet as can be, some a little spicy- every one of them has her own way of keeping life interesting around here.

They are the heart of Lilly Den Farm.
We’re grateful for the nourishing milk they give us… and we love them just as much for the joy (and chaos) they bring to our days.

Let’s be real though—
they eat like there’s no tomorrow,
they fart like it’s their full-time job,
they’ve got absolutely zero table manners…

…and somehow they can be both graceful and completely uncoordinated.

Perfectly imperfect. Just the way we like ‘em 🤍

This is the bull that had it out for Tucker.

He’s a Longhorn Brahma cross, born right here in this pasture. His mama was one of the coolest—and craziest—cows we ever owned. We bought her as a baby calf, bottle raised her… and she was absolutely insane.

She was fine as long as you didn’t corner her.
One time we got her in the trailer and she tried to come out the window and got herself stuck. That kind of crazy.

This was her last calf before we sold her.

He’s never been off this pasture, and unlike every other cow and bull on this farm, he’s never been handled. Never let us touch him. Never trusted us. That’s why he’s still walking around with horns and balls—and a bad attitude to match.

Today, Dennet and Tucker got him loaded in the trailer and tomorrow Dennet takes him to the processor, that’ll be the end of that cow family at Lilly Den Farm.

Now for the real question…
Who thinks we should mount the head? Skull and horns… or go all in? 😅

Southern Pines — 565 Air Tool Rd
🕐 1:00–2:30
👉🏽 We’ll see you there today.

Quick update for everyone asking about Tucker—

He’s home, on the mend, a little drugged up, and soaking in all the love from your messages. We’re taking really good care of him, and he’s in good spirits.

Meanwhile, farm life rolls on.

Chores are done, milk is cooling, and we’re getting ready to pack up. That’s the thing about farming—it doesn’t stop for anything. Cows still need to be milked, animals still need to be fed… and truthfully, it was nothing to get it all done.

The kids woke up and showed up like they always do. That’s what makes a family farm what it is.

And from all of us—thank you. The support means more than you know ❤️

Tough day on the farm.

Our bull took Tucker for a ride that none of us ever want to see again—charging into his abdomen and throwing him clear across the pasture. Thankfully, Dennet was right there and got him out fast.

We spent a long day at UNC hospital, and we truly can’t say enough good things about the care he received. They were quick, thorough, and took amazing care of him. And my friends and family took amazing care of me! ❤️

Best case in a bad situation— he is alive, can move and has no internal injuries.
But he’s got a fractured lower back and a long, painful road ahead.

Anyone who knows Tucker knows this is going to be the hardest part—being told to slow down and sit still. That man doesn’t know how to quit, especially when it comes to this farm.

But tonight, we are incredibly grateful. It could have been so much worse.

The farm will keep running like it always does—because that’s what family farms do. We pull together, we show up, and we keep going.

If you’ve got a minute, send some healing strength Tucker’s way. 💚

🌱 Homeschool, Farm Style 🐄

Homeschool doesn’t always look like desks, worksheets, and classrooms…
Sometimes it looks like muddy boots, early mornings, and tough hands.

At Lilly Den Farm, we’re teaching real life.
Hard work. Responsibility.

We’re learning life lessons you can’t always find in a book—
Patience. Dedication. Gratitude.

We’re raising kids who understand where their food comes from, who respect the animals that nourish us,
and who take pride in the life we’re building together.

We are constantly learning.
Constantly growing.
As a family.

Because learning should be meaningful.
And loving what you do… that’s everything. 🤍
