Typically we wean the registered calves around the the 5-10th of October. We were 2 weeks ahead of that this year due to the dry conditions. The bull calves still really impressed this year with 84 bull calves averaging 660lbs off the cow.

We got the corn chopped off a couple weeks ago. Sure wasn’t the crop we hoped for but happy to have feed in the pile nonetheless!!

This guy has an impressive amount of muscle and really expresses it! Moderately sized but absolutely crushes the scale with his large amount of red meat! Forage efficient and superior fleshing ability for sure. He really is fun to watch from behind! 😂

This young herd sire already seems to know his place. This is a really neat calf with a pedigree that I think will excite a lot of folks that are looking for something different but yet is very proven!
