For those who use the scratch off coated heat patches…. The oil in fly rubs cleans that coating off with 1 swipe…patched all the AI’ed cows for return heats… its heart stopping to see all those patches bright pink🤮until you watch a newly patched cow, go under the rub…. I guess we should go back to breeding for January calves… no need for fly rubs in April 😡

Joni and her son Quintin at Bucher Cattle Company have been breeding State and National Champions for two decades, and these are our Spring/ late spring calves. These calves are broke to lead, wash, blow dry, clip and have been hauled. We have steers that are the perfect age for Denver/Arizona Nationals/Fort Worth/Georgia Nationals/San Antonio/ OYE and will be competitive at the highest levels. PS. We have 15 more steers that we will clip and picture in the next 2 weeks, suitable for the above listed shows as well as San Angelo, Austin and HLSR!
