Cutting buckets full of color this week for baptisms, weddings and funerals. Flowers are such a beautiful thing during hard times as well as joyful celebrations.

Weโ€™re so lucky we get to grow these for our communities and partner with so many local florists and communities members!!!

We have been battling every bug in the planet it feels like and our poor dahlias have been suffering! ๏ฟผ We have been battling one bug that gets into the buds and so the flowers donโ€™t fully open, and we have been battling another type that just completely devastate the pedals, shreds them to pieces, stains them all the things! ๐Ÿ˜ญ

This morning I woke up to this beauty and there was not a single bite or blemish and it was such a wonderful feeling!! ๏ฟผ

We do our absolute best not to spray here and so we are planning on putting up hoops and bug netting in the next week to save these beauties for the rest of the season! ๐Ÿ’ ๏ฟผ
