To the people throwing pop cans and garbage into our ditches:
Those ditches get mowed and baled. Those cans get chopped up and mixed right into cattle feed. What looks like “just one can” out the truck window or in the back bed can end up seriously injuring or killing livestock.
Please think twice before tossing your garbage on rural roads. Farmers work hard to care for these animals, and they shouldn’t have to suffer because of someone else’s littering.
Keep your cans in your vehicle until you find a garbage can. Our animals, our farms, and our communities deserve better. 🐮
