Wow, what an incredible week! We are so honored to be recognized as the Goodhue County Farm Family of the Year at the Goodhue County Fair! ❤️
It was a busy and memorable week as we welcomed two tour groups—one from Waseca County 4-H and another 4-H exchange group from Wabasha County and New York! We also squeezed in some time to lend a hand at the Three Rivers Cattlemen Burger Stand. 🍔

We are so grateful for all the wonderful people, opportunities, and memories that made this week so special! 🐮🌾❤️

As the 2026 National Junior Angus Show comes to a close, we have some exciting news to share!

Minnesota and Iowa will host the 2027 National Junior Angus Show, taking place July 10–17, 2027, in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Now is the time to mark your calendars! This event will take the support of many volunteers, families, breeders, and friends to make it a success.

More information will be shared in the coming months about opportunities to volunteer, sponsor, and contribute. If you’d like to be involved or serve on the planning committee, we’d love to have you. Send us a message to get your name on the list!

U.S. CATTLE REPORT 🥩 Boxed Beef Down $33.50 Since June 23; Last Year It Dropped $35 Before Rebounding Above $400 in Just Two Weeks

Choice boxed beef closed Friday at $366.81, down $1.57 from Thursday's $368.38. Since reaching $400.31 on June 23, Choice boxed beef has declined $33.50, falling in 14 of the last 17 trading sessions.

Last year, Choice boxed beef followed a similar path, dropping $35.17 from $396.49 on June 27 to $361.32 on July 31. It then recovered to $400.57 by August 15, just two weeks after reaching its seasonal low.
