Schields Farms Crops grown: wheat, corn, and sunflowers Located on the western plains of Kansas, Fred and Jeanie Schields’ farm is a family-owned and operated grain farm.

The predominant crops grown are wheat, corn, and sunflowers. Most of the Schields’ acres are cultivated dry land, with some irrigated acres. New farming practices such no-till, minimum-till and prescriptive farming are used to build the soils, preserve the limited rainfall and ultimately enhance production. The Schields grow Kansas Certified Seed Wheat for their local customers.
