All the Lillehorn ewes and 2026 lambs are enjoying some fall weather 🍁 under the pines this morning.

Last June, we finally got brave enough to combined our 2 flocks of ewes. For mineral, we split the difference between no added copper (CVMs & Northies) & some copper (Icies & Leadersheep). So far, no change in their fleeces & no signs of toxicity. Looking forward to seeing what we see in liver tests this fall.🤞🏻

Anyone else running their Northern European short-tails along standard breeds? How have you managed their mineral?

This lady’s coloring is giving me all the fall vibes - pumpkin spice latte, caramel apple, bourbon…. 😆 Only thing missing is wattles. She’s looking for new pastures and will be registered.
