This little shop has made me so happy for a year now!
But it’s time to level up. I’m moving my operations to a bigger spot two blocks away so I can add arcade games! I’ll also have more space for seating and just hanging out.
The move is sure to be crazy but I hope to be all set up in my new shop in about a week!

Goodland… this one’s from the heart ❤️

A few years ago, when our friends John and Mary Ellen sold Terra Bona, something quietly left Main Street. Not just coffee—but the feeling that came with it. The place you could pause, connect, and just be for a moment.

That stuck with us.

Because for me, coffee has never just been a drink. It’s culture. It’s connection. It’s something I grew up with—back in Puerto Rico, where coffee isn’t rushed… it’s shared. It’s conversation on a porch, music in the background, contagious laughter, family, community. It’s vibrant. A whole vibe.

And when we started Tinkering Owl, that’s what we carried with us.

Not a big shop.
Not a perfect setup.

Just a canopy… an espresso machine… and a vision to bring something different to a small Kansas town.

Then came the trailer.
The long days.
The early mornings.
The miles driving across different cities.

And eventually… Main Street.

Every latte we’ve created, every flavor we’ve experimented with, every person we’ve connected with at that window—it’s all been building toward something bigger.

Coffee isn’t something we added along the way. It’s been the heart of what we do from day one.

Not just selling coffee…
But bringing that feeling back.

That energy.
That culture.
That sense of community that coffee is supposed to create.

And now… we can finally say it out loud.

We’re bringing a coffee shop back to Main Street.

A place rooted in passion.
Inspired by big city experiences and island culture.
Built right here for Goodland.
