There have been so many great things going on..it's hard to know where to start! BIG NEWS...Thickle Farms is now verified by the State of Michigan and we have our awesome sign up!! We also have been granted our special use permit to do ALL the things we cant wait to do without worry or hassle! Big THANK YOU to our supporting neighbors and Atlas Township, we appreciate the board supporting our vision!
Ok next...We hosted a pot luck dinner for the Twilight Growers Group at the farm...it was amazing. We meet a ton of great people that we can work with down the road. This was the groups first time at an "Agritourism" farm and they all loved it!
Thickle Farms was the lunch sponsor at a golf outing at Atlas Valley to help end hungar in Michigan. We love the cause, especually because last year they built a food pantry in Goodrich Middle School for any students who need assistance with food! I love supporting our community! This year, The Borowski-Noyce Agency will be building a pantry for Davison Schools! Keep up the great work and thank you for including us!
Canton and Pippa went to Anchored Heart to visit their residents! They did wonderful and the residents loved them! Thank you for inviting us out!
One little bummer...foraging class has to be rescheduled due to weather...buts its ok...we are going to make it even better!
