Chilly (CHF Victorious ChillyWilly) calved this past Saturday with a very nice angus cross bull calf. While I don’t keep many jerseys around these days, she is one that makes me want to go back to jersey hoarding. She’s a Victorious out of an Eclipes-P cow. Her temperament is as beautiful as her udder. As soon as the edema is cleared up she will be posing for some glamor shots. 😍

First cutting 2023 is well under way. Very excited to see this hay barn filled to the gills over the next few weeks.

Day 4 has come to a peaceful end. They’ve learned so much in just 4 days. I need to get back on finishing the wash rack so they can get a good scrubbing under their belts, but hay has to take priority. I figure they’d rather eat this winter than be clean a little sooner 🤣
