Seven Freedoms Farm Our page, in conjunction with our website, chronicles our journey from a city life to one more independent, healthy and sustainable.

Seven Freedom Farm, LLC is a 150-acre family farm in Bedford County, Virginia; home to an ante-bellum farmhouse, a herd of 200 head of goats and our dogs Beans & Dooley.
**BY APPOINTMENT ONLY** In short in the summer of 2013 we left New England and happily fled south. Here we were blessed to find an old homestead (in need of a lot of work) with many adjacent acres. We have added several more parce

ls over the last year bringing us up to 45 acres total. Join us as we continue our journey as stewards restoring the former WB Hancock Farm Estate and delve into a local, economically and ecologically sustainable and sound farming enterprise!

This boy is the sole buckling we’ve retained this year. He’s had great growth and had an outstanding FAMACHA just assessed 6 weeks post separating from mama. He’s also developed some interesting coat color with some mahogany colored trimming/skirting. Beyond all that, for an unknown reason he is exceptionally friendly! Looking forward to seeing what he does in the coming years. We’ve already moved one mature buck to a new farm and our 10 year old is likely ready for retirement. We have one brand new buck as well as a red / year old for this fast approaching breeding season.
