It’s the 1st day of June, which means we get to celebrate World Milk Day & the start of National Dairy Month! 🌎🐮🥛🐄

What makes our milk unique? It is low-temp “vat” pasteurized (145° for 30 minutes) and NOT homogenized; which means the cream naturally rises to the top. You have to shake it up before drinking! It is pure whole milk; nothing added in or taken out. 🤠

It has been a busy spring at the dairy! 🌼 Milking the cows 2x a day, weekly deliveries, pasteurizing/bottling milk every day (sometimes twice in one day), feeding calves, welcoming NEW baby calves, making ice cream… the list goes on and on; which means there’s always something to do basically 24/7! 🐄🥛

Summertime is almost here, so things won’t be slowing down anytime soon! 🚜🐮🌾🤠

Who’s ready for some strawberry ice cream???🍦🍓 We’re so excited to add another flavor to the lineup! Simply Strawberry is made with REAL strawberries and zero artificial dyes; fresh fruit in every bite and the prettiest shade of pink!

Celebrating National Ag Day the only way we know how — working on the farm! 🐄

Agriculture in general contributes to almost everything we all use in daily life; food, clothing, transportation, just to name a few. Our dairy also depends on other agricultural commodities, from the soybeans in the cow feed, to the cocoa powder in our chocolate milk, or fuel for the equipment! 🚜

We’re thankful to be a small part of the ag industry, providing dairy products for local families here in Alabama. Pour a glass of Circle J and celebrate with us! 🥛

The cows (and the farmers) are thoroughly enjoying the beautiful weather this morning. 🐄☀️ We’re looking forward to springtime!

We will be open today (2/7) from 2:00-5:00 and stocked up with all of your favorites! Whole & chocolate milk, all three flavors of ice cream, and a few loaves of sourdough bread from our neighbors at Fair Farms ! The afternoon milking starts up at 3:30. Come see us at the dairy! 🥛

Today is National Milk Day 🥛 On this day in 1878, pasteurized milk was delivered for the very first time to people’s homes. At Circle J Dairy, we’re excited to keep this going by delivering our farm fresh pasteurized milk to grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants year round in the West Alabama area. 🐄

This day goes out to all of the dairy farmers, delivery truck drivers, processing plant operators and MORE that work together to make sure consumers always have access to fresh milk!
