Ok sim angus cattle breeders, the Alabama Simmental Association yearly sale is May 16! We would love for you to put in a lot to show off all the hard work that goes into raising these fine cattle. We are looking for bred heifers, 3n1s, bred cows, bulls, if you would like to consign please reach out to John Mark Mcclary Terry Bowen Clayton young, Marlon Dickerson! Awesome sale for the Alabama/ Mississippi simmental associations. One of the best sales to date. Thanks Jeremie Ruble for putting it together. Thanks Terry Bowen for the choice lots, was a set of superior genetics. Thank you to all the consignors, I been on the sale board 2 years and every year the offering is getting better and better and the genetics are some of the best. Also glad we was able to bring home 2 Breds from terry. We fill these heifers will do a great job. Look foward to seeing this purebred package and excited to see this TYSON calf hit the ground!

Had to say goodbye to the big man at MCCLARY FARMS this week. He’s been with us since the start of us getting in the simmental breed. We purchased flintlock from Bradley Gibbs at Gibbs Farms and man did they fix us up right and only a few ppl know the story behind this bull, but he was a special one to us! One thing about it they say don’t name your bulls or cows well this bull was named and will always have a special spot here at the farm and be the one that got it all started! We sure gonna miss him!

Thank you to all the people that made the ALABAMA SIMMENTAL ASSOCIATION SALE a huge success Saturday! Thank you Jeremie Ruble for managing. Sam Russell thank you for putting a team together to go and find all the consignors, we couldn’t do it with out them. And than you to the ones that supported McClary Farms we had the high selling pair and the high selling split open heifer! We can’t thank you enough and look forward to a great sale next year!

Lot43 is a commercial cow that is bred back to our herd bull GIBBS FLINTLOCK. She has a great udder and plenty of milk to raise the keeping kind females and herd bulls.

Lot 40A is a heifer out of a clean up bull at Brown Farms SimAngus a big tig timber son. She’s a little younger but has a great struck and will make an excellent addition to any herd.

Lot 39 is a cow in her prime bred the the new CCR FIREPOWER. This cow has done a great job for us and she is raising a really nice Kenworth sired bull calf.

Lot 39A is a kenworth sired son. He weighed 525 on 4/28 and has all vaccinations and wormed. He has great look and smooth on feet and soft sided. Would make a great bull prospect. Make sure to check him and his dam out on sale day
