Do you eat Grilled beef liver with onions and gravy 💚

The Blue Plate Diner is one of the few places that I know of to get beef liver. I don’t know how they get it so tender, but it always is and the flavor of the gravy with onions is awesome. Never disappoints 😁

**"📌 Recipe for Homemade Vanilla Flavoring

• 5 to 6 vanilla beans
• 1 cup (8 oz) 80-proof vodka — bourbon or rum works too, for a warmer flavor
• A clean glass jar with a tight lid

Split each bean open lengthwise, leaving about an inch uncut at one end. Put the beans in the jar and cover them completely with the vodka. Lid on tight, tuck it in a cool, dark cabinet, and give it a shake once a week or so. It's ready to use at 8 weeks — but 6 months makes it rich and wonderful! As you use it, just top the jar back off with more vodka and it'll keep going for years. — Annie Marie 💚

Look at this treasure, y'all 💚 — a vintage Watkins bottle, still wearing its paper label.

For years, Watkins products were sold door to door — the Watkins man was a familiar knock at houses all across the country. In the 1940s, Watkins was the largest direct-sales company in the world! But not long after, times changed and the company slowly began to decline.

These old bottles are little pieces of everyday history. Do you remember the Watkins man coming to your house? —

A friend and a follower recently shared his own recipe for a cast iron skillet upside down pizza 🍕

First He added a small amount of oil to his iron skillet and layered well with pepperoni. Next he followed with onions and mushrooms then he topped it all with a generous amount of mozzarella cheese. Lastly he spread a jar of pizza sauce across and used a can of crescent rolls to cover the top. The skillet was put in an oven on 375 and baked until the rolls were a golden brown.

Now comes the fun part. Once cooked he turned the pizza over into a plate. It surprisingly held together 😁
My friend said it was delicious and still good warmed over the next day.

He plans to make it again.

Isn’t it a comforting feeling to know that God is always one step ahead of us. He didn’t promise that our path would be easy but he did promise to always be there with us. Just knowing that he’s one step ahead is priceless.
