The Sandhills Summer Catalog Sale was a huge success yesterday. We are so thankful for our consignors bringing some amazing horses and for all the buyers online and in person!

Our high-selling horse was Lot # 9 "Lil Quixote Baloo," a 2017 Chesnut Gelding that has done absolutely everything on the ranch, is catty, quick, and gorgeous to look at.

Our next Open Consignment Horse Sale will be July 14, 2026 and our next Catalog Horse Sale will be in September!

We couldn't do this without our amazing crew inside and out, each of our consignors & bidders, and also our horse vets, Dr. Terry Beguin Strong & Dr. Charmayne Strong-Wolken at Beguin Veterinary Service

9 yr old, geldings, 1/2 brothers. Dick purchased these well bred, handy sized geldings as 3 yr olds. They have been used on the Minor Ranch extensively. They have paired out 100s, both ride into the herd quiet, extremely cowy, and will cut cow as smooth as a finished cutter. They will both ride out nice alone or with others, trim, and haul with ease. Both are very well mannered, NO buck, No Goofy business, but are not recommended for an inexperienced rider as they are extremely quick and athletic. "Sq**rt" and "Scooter" know a hard days work and will go all day long with no quit. Rope, drag, doctor, ride, slide, and spin, 100% sound.
