I have one animal left that is unspoken for. If you are interested, let me know ASAP!

It goes to the butcher Tueday morning at Ken's in Biddeford. I also may be able to shift someone buying a half on September 5th and sell a half for that date. Either way I need to sell at least a half or I'll have to cancel one animal. The appointment this week is for.

We are now taking deposits for 1/4, 1/2, and whole animals going to the butcher Summer 2025. We will accept deposits from previous customers now and will begin taking deposits from new customers on February 1. If you purchased beef in the last two years, you should have received an email.

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve recently implemented the Gallagher eShepherd virtual fencing system, and it’s a total game-changer for our pasture management! 🎉

Gone are the days of moving temporary fencing every 1-3 days for each group of animals. With virtual fencing, we can now draw digital boundaries that keep our animals safely where they need to be while giving us greater flexibility in managing our pastures.

Here’s how it works:
🐮 As the animals approach a virtual boundary, they’ll hear up to three warning tones.
🐏 If they continue through the boundary, they receive a mild, harmless shock to encourage them to stay within the designated area.

The best part? Our animals are adapting to it so quickly! This system is helping us keep them safe, reduce labor, and make smarter decisions about grazing.

We’re excited about the future this technology offers and can’t wait to see the positive impact it will have on our farm. 💡
