Definitely a blessing this morning. Our second addition is a black doe with a little white tuff on top of her head. I am so excited for an all black obherhasli. All black is an uncommon trait so this makes it extra special.

My experiment is fruiting. This is one of the pepper plants I overwintered. Last fall I pulled it out from my garden and planted in fresh soil in pots. Put them in the basement and watered about once a month or when I remember. When I brought them upstairs they quickly started to leaf and flower. I have picked many flowers off so they will focus on growing. But I’ve given up on trying to keep up and let nature do its thing. It’s exciting seeing little peppers.

And yes, that’s a pineapple plant in the background I’m trying to grow that as well. I’ve tried for a few years. But they always get hit with the frost before I remember to bring them inside in the fall. So I keep trying every year.
