We will be hosting a BBQ Fundraiser to support Church Community Services on Saturday, August 9. There will be live bands, a kid’s zone and plenty of pulled pork. Tickets for the event are coming soon!

It's that time a year again for us to team up with Pleasant View Church. They raise awareness and funds for a local charity every year. This year it is The Window in Goshen. They have great outreach programs, like Meals on Wheel, Katie's Kitchen, and Clothes Closet. If you are missing our food then this is a great opportunity to get a great meal and serve the community. All the info is on the fliers in the photo below.

Now that the dust has settled from a GREAT fundraiser it's time to finalize everything. Hopefully you left with a full stomach and happy hearts! Pleasant View Church, The Smokin Pigpen BBQ, Church Community Services, Seed To Feed, Elkhart Co. would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that came out to support a great organization. We were able to raise just over $10,000 which is over 10,000 lbs of pork for Pigs For The Pantry! We couldn't have done it without the generosity of the community!

I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Forks County Line Stores, Inc. and Martin Ace Hardware of Middlebury for their generosity for donations.

We super EXCITED for Saturday! Come and PIG OUT with Seed To Feed, Elkhart Co., Church Community Services, and Pleasant View Church for "Pork For The Pantry". You can enjoy GREAT food and support a GREAT cause!

Tickets available at the door day of meal. Dine-in or carry-out, serving is 4pm-7pm at Pleasant View Church.

https://www.churchcommunityservices.org/soupofsuccess needs WOOL sweaters! They must be a minimum of 30% wool content in order to work for creating our incredible one-of-a-kind mittens. It's OK if there's a hole or stain, or if you accidently shrunk it. (We can work around that.) If you're cleaning out your attic, combing through estate sales, or thrift shopping and come across a wool sweater in any pattern, color, or size, PLEASE consider donating to our program! All proceeds from product sales are used for training wages for women in our program.

I just wanted to THANK everyone who came out to the fundraiser at Pleasant View Church . We were able to raise around $4,600 for the mission trip! We couldn't have done it without the support of the community. I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to the local businesses that donated some supplies. Make sure to check them out.

Kristopher’s pulled pork and cheesy potatoes are best, in my opinion. 😊
