ā¤ļø The Heart Behind Heaven Bound Homestead Creations

Life has looked a little different for us lately.

We’ve walked through loss, heartbreak, change, growing pains, unexpected obstacles, and seasons we never saw coming. We’ve watched our daughters grow up and begin finding their own paths, while learning that being a mom doesn’t get easier when your children get older—it just becomes a different kind of hard.

There are still kids who need Mom. A husband who needs his wife. A house that needs running. Animals that need caring for. Puppies that somehow need everything at once. šŸ˜‚ There are schedules, responsibilities, celebrations, tears, disagreements, changing relationships and about a million emotions under one roof.

And somewhere in the middle of taking care of the house, the kids, the dogs, the puppies, the business, and everybody else’s emotions… Mom has had to remember that hers matter too.

This season has humbled us.

There have been days when we didn’t have the answers. Days when plans fell apart. Days when our family hurt. Days when all we could do was put one foot in front of the other and trust that God was still working, even when we couldn’t see it.

And He was. ā¤ļø

Through our losses, God gave us grace.
Through the changes, God gave us strength.
Through the uncertainty, God gave us faith.
And through every obstacle, He never left our side.

That is the heart behind Heaven Bound Homestead Creations.

This isn’t just a business to us. It’s something created in the middle of our real, messy, beautiful life. It’s a place where our faith, family, homestead, creativity and love all come together.

We don’t have a perfect family. We don’t have a perfect story. We are simply a family who has been knocked down a few times, loved each other through some hard seasons, raised some pretty amazing daughters, welcomed a whole lot of four-legged chaos šŸ˜‚, learned some difficult lessons, and continued getting back up.

Not because we’re strong enough to do it all—but because God is.

So as we step back into this business, we’re doing it with a different perspective and a whole lot more gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who gave us grace when we needed to step away. Thank you for the prayers, messages, patience, encouragement, and for simply sticking around.

We’re still growing. We’re still healing. We’re still figuring out this crazy thing called life.

But we’re here.

Our family is moving forward. Our faith is stronger. The machines are coming back on. And Heaven Bound Homestead Creations is BACK. šŸ™Œā¤ļø

Whatever this next chapter holds, we know one thing for certain:

God has carried us this far, and we’re trusting Him with everything that comes next.

āœļø Faith. Family. Grace. Purpose.

WHEN LIFE HAPPENS ALL AT ONCE

There are seasons in life where everything feels beautifully balanced… and then there are seasons like this one.

Lately, our world has felt a little upside down here at Heaven Bound Homestead Creations. Between preparing for golden retriever puppies to arrive, walking through my grandmother being very ill, and grieving the loss of a very dear friend, life has been moving faster than our hearts can keep up with.

Our sweet mama dog is getting closer and closer to welcoming her puppies into the world, and while that should feel nothing but exciting, it’s been layered with worry, exhaustion, preparation, and emotion. We’ve been setting up whelping boxes, checking on her constantly, learning every little sign, and trying to make sure everything is perfect for her and the babies. It’s amazing how something so joyful can also bring so much anxiety when you care deeply.

At the same time, our family has been navigating my grandmother being very ill.

There’s something about watching someone you love decline that changes you. It slows time down in the strangest way. You find yourself wanting to be everywhere at once — caring for your family, your home, your animals, your business, while also trying to hold onto moments that suddenly feel far too precious.

And in the middle of all of this, we’ve also been grieving the loss of a very good friend.

Loss has a way of stopping you in your tracks. It makes ordinary moments feel different. It makes you realize how fragile life really is and how deeply people can leave fingerprints on your heart. Some grief is loud, and some grief is quiet — but all of it changes you.

Some days lately have felt overwhelming. Some days I’ve sat surrounded by orders, laundry, puppy supplies, and unanswered messages wondering how life can feel so full and so heavy at the exact same time.

But if there’s one thing this season has reminded me, it’s this:

Life doesn’t pause for us to catch our breath.

The puppies are still coming.

The sun still rises.

People still need love.

Orders still wait to be made.

And somehow, in the middle of all the chaos, there are still tiny moments of beauty.

A sleepy dog curled up beside me.

A late-night conversation with my husband.

One of the kids checking in.

Tiny puppy kicks.

A memory that suddenly makes me smile instead of cry.

This business has always been built around real life — not perfection. Around family, love, hard seasons, healing seasons, and creating things with heart behind them. So if things have seemed a little quieter lately, or slower than normal, just know we’re doing our best while living through a lot of life all at once.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in on us, supported our small business, sent prayers, shared kind words, or simply been patient.

It means more than you know.

Sometimes homesteading, motherhood, marriage, family, grief, business ownership, and caring for animals all collide at once… and this is one of those seasons.

We’re taking it one day at a time over here.

And honestly, that’s enough right now.
