Meet "Baby", our newest intake 🥰 a lovely neighbor trusted us with her 11 week old Barred Rock who is having a bit of a difficulty with walking.

While there are many things this could be, we are starting with vitamin deficiency protocol, as she otherwise is a bright and healthy girl.

Vet visits for chickens is always a bit taboo in the chicken world. Some owners would simply dispatch a sick or injured chicken, while others try to self remedy at home[us] and others go the distance and seek out vet help. None are the wrong path❤️

All donations and merch purchase proceeds goes towards our ICU patients, like Baby🥰, to make sure they get the best possible care

Meet R***r! A rooster we adopted from a local who lost most of their flock to a fox.

He is a good boy, but recently he has sounded like he started going through puberty which was so odd 🙉 upon inspection, you can hear he has a respiratory infection!

Usually respiratory infections can be contagious depending on the cause so he is isolated in the ICU for about 5-7 days and on antibiotics.

Running a small farm of rescues means we get hit with unexpected medical curveballs—from daily treatments here in the house to emergency vet hospital trips.

Every single donation and merch purchase goes right back into the animals. It funds the medications, specialized feeds, and round-the-clock care that patients like R***r need to get back on their feet.

Thank you guys so much for backing the Chaos Crew and helping us take care of our boy! We’ll keep you updated on his progress. 🖤

I always find myself posting on my personal page instead of my farm page for updates.

We have since brought Tatiana home from the vet and she has since been doing wonderful. Im overly grateful and can't thank New Bolton enough for their support❤️

If I am honest, we are drowing in vet bills. I have lost out on money from events I had to cancel due to this vet trip and it is a heavy weight to carry.

But, we will prevail. We will do what we can to raise money for our girls. Their health is priceless to me, they are priceless to me. They have taught me so much about myself, and given me so much love. These are setbacks, bumps in the road.. and we wl overcome them.

We are still fundraising for their care, but if I am honest.. it makes me feel guilty so I haven't been talking about it as much.

Thanks to the community, friends and family who have supported us so far❤️

This weekend I had the biggest scare on our farm. Tatiana, our other bottle baby and Anastasia's sister, became a bit sad. She wasnt herself and after doing some basic checkup at home, I decided a vet visit was best.

We arrived at the Quakertown vet clinic and after tests they told me she had an abscess that ruptured in her liver and euthanasia was the best option.

After giving it some thought with my family, we decided it best to get a second opinion at the New Bolton Center.

They could NOT find the same issue. In fact, they said this was a goat they would NOT euthanize.

She gets a full abdomen ultrasound tomorrow by their ultrasound team to see if anything else is wrong, but at this time she seems to be doing better❤️❤️

Keep her in your thoughts, I dont think we can take much more 😭

Meet Ruby!

Our only hospital chicken at the moment [thank goodness], who has been battling an intestinal infection of some sort for about 2 months.

She is a happy gal, loves her medicine with some quail eggs, and loves to crap all over the walls🤣🤣🫠🫠

Donations to the farm also contribute to medications, like her antibiotics, to help keep the crew healthy!

Our mascot had such a blast meeting new people today. Thanks to everyone who came to say hello and show their support!!
