Any of my local or semi local friends have any Tetnus antitoxin they could spare? One of the kids in my 4H club is in desperate need of some. We did find some and gave that tonight but he is going to need another dose tomorrow. Let me know! Or if you know of a store that has some in stock.

This!! 💯💯💯

How much better could this industry be if more people remembered what this was really supposed to be about?

Because yes, we all want to win.
We want the banners.
The buckles.
The backdrop pictures.
The validation that the hard work paid off.

But at the end of the day, the greatest thing this industry produces was never meant to be livestock.

It’s people.

Young people who learn responsibility before most adults do.
Who learn how to lose gracefully.
How to work when they’re tired.
How to care for something besides themselves.
How to shake hands.
How to be humble.
How to keep showing up.

And the truth is, if we sacrifice those things in the pursuit of winning… then we missed the point completely.

The best stock show families aren’t just building champions in the ring. They’re building good humans outside of it too. 💙
