A Golden Trout!!! What is it? What you’re looking at is actually a rainbow trout that is Leucistic, an uncommon but naturally occurring genetic anomaly that causes them to be deficient in the darker pigmentations. These unique fish are a great addition to any fish pond because they are easy to see and make a fun trophy for the angler who is lucky enough to land one. We will have Golds available as eggs this fall, and catchables in the spring.
