Some gatherings are about more than just the foodđ¤
This week, I had the privilege of welcoming back the âSibs & Wannabesâ for their second private class at The Little Kitchen. What began as a group of 12 in 2024 has grown to 18 strongâproof that family has a wonderful way of expanding to include not only siblings, but the people who become family along the way.
They spent the week together supporting one another, sharing memories, and celebrating a life well lived. In the midst of a busy and emotional week, they chose to spend one evening laughing, cooking, and simply being together. It was truly an honor to be a small part of that.
The menu was full of comfort and fun: hearty steak sandwiches with provolone, arugula, and caramelized onions, a fresh salad with homemade vinaigrette, Parmesan-crusted potatoes, individual strawberry shortcake parfaits, and of course, espresso martinis shaken to finish the night.
There was so much laughter, love, and genuine joy in the room. From the youngest to the oldest, this family has a remarkable way of making one another feel seen, included, and deeply loved.
Thank you, Sibs & Wannabes, for returning to The Little Kitchen and for allowing me to share in such a meaningful week. I hope this becomes a treasured annual tradition. It has been a joy getting to know all of you, and I look forward to welcoming you back again.
