The swarm story:

Someone contacted us about a large swarm in her tree. She needed the tree cut down but companies refused to with an active hive. Instead of allowing the company to spray and kill the hive, she called us.

Keith added a cone to the hole of the hive so the bees could fly out but not back in. He added frames with drawn out honeycomb to the bee box strapped to the tree to convince them to come inside.

We left it there for over a week and from the last picture you can see almost all the bees moved to the hive.

We added a queen to the hive yesterday. Now we wait 4-5 days to make sure they accepted the hive and feed them pollen patties and sugar water to keep them happy.

Stay tuned and remember, if you have a swarm that needs removed, we will remove it FOR FREE 🐝

Sorry I’m late, we’ve been busy farming. I forgot to post this draft a year ago. 😂

Ten years of dirt under our nails and a decade of Everhart Farm. 🎂

In 2015, we were just two kids in our early 20s with a mission that felt bigger than us. After losing close family members to cancer, “health” wasn’t just a buzzword, it became our north star. We looked at what was in the grocery store aisles and decided we wanted something better, something honest.

Neither of us grew up farming. Our only connection to the land was through great-grandparents we never got to meet, but whose blood clearly still called out for the soil. We’d like to think we’re making them proud today.

We didn’t take the easy route. Inspired by Joel Salatin, we committed to doing this regeneratively, ethically, and organically…or not at all. We’ve faced failed crops and long nights, but those failures were just the fertilizer for our successes.

The best part? This is the only life our daughters have ever known. Seeing them grow up connected to the rhythm of the seasons makes every struggle worth it. This lifestyle has directly shaped their personalities and I love their brave, caring, grounded, and well rounded souls. Here’s to 10 years of healing the land and feeding our community. We’re just getting started. 🥂

📢 Big News from Everhart Farm! 🐖
You’ve enjoyed our Ever Fresh Honey and loved our Ever Fresh Eggs... now, we are so proud to introduce the newest addition to the family: Ever Tender Pork.

This isn’t your average “white meat.” We raise American Guinea Hogs, a rare heritage breed once common on family farms but now a prized secret among top chefs.

What makes Ever Tender Pork different?
• Deep Color: Forget pale pink. Our pork is a rich, deep red (like a fine steak!) a natural sign of the myoglobin developed from a life on pasture.

• Iberian Quality: Known for creamy, high-quality fat and incredible marbling, these hogs share the same luxurious texture as the famed pigs of Spain.

• Raised Right: Our hogs live slow, healthy lives on unsprayed pasture and hay. No hormones, no shortcuts: just wholesome, old-fashioned flavor.

• Taste the Difference: Expect a natural sweetness and depth of flavor you simply cannot find in a grocery store.

We are officially open for orders! Our pork is processed at K&L (State Inspected) and sold by the pound.

Swipe left ⬅️ to see our available cuts.

Quantities are limited for this first run, so DM us or comment below to claim your heritage pork. Taste the tradition!

Please help us out, we are looking to find a new farm for our Registered American Guinea Hog breeding pair to call home. Please share with any homesteaders you may know. They would be the perfect pair for new homesteaders or experienced farmers. Belle is an experienced mom, she’s had 1 (sometimes 2) litters every year since we purchased her in 2018.

We purchased Belle and Beast in June 2018 when they were 9 months old. They’ve been breeding together ever since. Belle normally has 7-8 piglets per litter and can farrow on her own. They are both trained with electric fencing as they were raised with rotational grazing. They are very tolerant to cold weather.

Thank you for your help!
