I could watch these little ones all day! There is so much to learn about natural animal instinct, inherent survival skills, and a mother’s love, protection and teachings. We endured a lot of loss on the farm the past 4 weeks but we’ve also captured amazing moments of the circle of life. This farm life isn’t for the weak… but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Life keeps on “life-ing” here every single day.

Day 3 for the notorious nine and they all made it out of the coop this morning. Today momma taught them how dust bathe and scratch to look for seeds, bugs, and grit. Watching them learn so quickly from her has been such a rad experience. So different than being raised in a brooder box. 🫶🏽🐥🫶🏽

The notorious nine and the Red in Fed (momma) are doing fantastic this morning. All the chickies are eating and drinking. I made them their own little condo and play yard, just for their family. 🐣🫶🏽🐥🫶🏽🐓🫶🏽 Happy day 2 little ones!

Just when I start to question if I’m giving these animals their best life possible… 9 little blessings come out of the bushes. We thought we lost this hen and here she is with little ones in tow. Such a good momma. I never keep a hen from being broody just so we can have the eggs. This is the circle of life at its finest! 🫶🏽💜🫶🏽

Cutest and sweetest bunnies in all of Western Washington are up for adoption. I’ll include lots of goodies with each adoption. 💜🫶🏽🐇🫶🏽💜 The baby bunnies are 10 weeks old and the older bunnies are 10 months old. They’ve got lots of love in them. They are a mix between Dutch and Lionhead so they will stay on the smaller side size wise. Come check them out at Farm Day next Saturday 10am-2pm.

All of us survived the heat this week. It took multiple cold water refills each day, feeding cold fruit and veggies, making sure shade screens and covers were in place, and even bringing some animals inside but we did it!! 🙌🏽💜🫶🏽
