I love my Satins. I hope to take them to more shows to be a much larger part of the process in them gaining official recognition as their own breed. I have always wanted to be a part of something that is much bigger than myself, and I am very blessed to be in this role of breeding poultry as well as my work in animal rescue. Satin is no longer in my farm name but I will never forget each and every Satin or Satin Frizzle that I have had the blessing to own. I started breeding Bantams with a Satin Frizzle rooster named Elvis; he was the very beginning of my hobby. He is still doing well today and I am grateful for him and my friend Bethany who gave him to me.
