Get ready to meet some of the animals around Cedar Cliff Farm!!! Featuring Red Bud and the rest of our herd!

🐮 Red Bud was once an award winning show heifer that has been turned into a farm cow. She is the only full blooded Jersey at our farm, and probably the prettiest Jersey we have ever had. Red Bud was recently artificially inseminated with Wagyu so we can’t wait to see what her calf will look like!

🐮 The rest of our herd are Jersey and Angus crosses, with there currently being three cows and three steers. The cows, like Red Bud, were recently artificially inseminated with Wagyu. The steers are being raised out for meat, we typically raise a steer for three to four years.

Get ready to meet some of the animals around Cedar Cliff Farm!!! Featuring our Gloucestershire Old Spots (GOS) pigs, Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson!

🐷 This breed of pig is known for their distinctive white coat with black spots. They are also known for their docility, intelligence, and prolificacy.

🐷 These two are not fully grown yet, but we can expect for Dolly Parton (sow) to reach around
500 lbs. and Willie Nelson (boar) to reach around 600 lbs. when fully mature.

🐷 Dolly and Willie are the farm’s breeder pair so expect to see litters coming from them in the near future! We will be selling their litters as either register piglets or as meat, feel free to reach out when litters are born to get more information.

Get ready to meet some of the animals around Cedar Cliff Farm!! Starting with the two that everyone loves the most… meet our livestock guardian dogs!

🐾Beau is our two year old male Great Pyrenees. When Beau isn’t patrolling the property, he is usually fishing in the pond (we aren’t joking) or taking a nap in the hay ring.

🐾Cat is our eight year old female Great Pyrenees. When Cat isn’t watching over the livestock, she is usually basking in the sun or looking for a new way to escape the fence (she’s our escape artist).
