* **Bring-Your-Own Trailer:** A hookup spot is available immediately for those with their own trailer. Live right on the farm and enjoy the tranquility and beautiful views.
* **Farmhouse Suite:** A private bedroom suite with minimal shared use of a bathroom and kitchen will become available at the end of the year.

Hello! I'm considering offering a barn help position where someone lives in their own trailer on my horse farm in exchange for work, with the work offsetting their rent.

Has anyone here had experience with this setup? I'm particularly interested in hearing about any privacy or safety considerations, and any suggestions or cautions you might have.

In the vein of the last post -
What’s the difference between insulting, bullying and telling hard to hear truths?

Insulting and bullying is to make you feel bad by design. It comes from a person who is not happy themselves, and it comes with a tone that is to make them look superior. You know it when you hear it, somewhere deep down.

Truth telling might equally make you mad, uncomfortable, or feel bad. But it’s intent is to keep you safe, to help you grow, and to bring you to the level you and your horse deserve. A good teacher can pad in praise and encouragement to make sure you can find the try in you when things are hard.

A good teacher wants your success. A bully wants to look good.
