American 🇺🇸 Farm stands- Celebrating American Agriculture 250!

America was built on the traditions of hard-working individuals, long hours in the labor of love for a new country.

Over the years, roadside farm stands had become a deeply rooted, American tradition. These set the stage for farmers markets dating back to the 1600s and acting as a cornerstone of community trust, local agriculture and direct to consumer sales. Most of the stands encompassed baked goods, seasonal produce, along with honey while featuring the honor system that allowed farmers to sell directly to their neighbors, cutting out middlemen and ensuring fresher products.

Here at the Creamery at K**b Farm, we have continued the American tradition of a farm stand while incorporating some of the European concept of fresh farm milk, directly to consumers right here on the farm. Although we are unable to accommodate bringing your own jugs, you are still able to pick up farm fresh milk through the honor system 365 days a year.

Today, these roadside stands, have continued and have even blossomed more in our area recently. As we celebrate America’s 250, we want to thank you for your continued support by keeping traditions alive.

**update: the tractor broke down on the 2nd load so the regular barn lane is open for at least a few more hours today 😂**

💩 Today is the day!!! 💩

Our manure haulers are on their way to empty our manure storage! Starting this afternoon through tomorrow we will temporarily close our barn lane to the Milkhouse and customers will be asked to use our second entrance on K**b Farm Road and park above the barn. These haulers drive very large tractors with huge tanks and, because they do this all day every day, move rather quickly so we don’t want any cars or people in their way! If you want to avoid this temporary change, walking up and down the hill, and/or the smell of cow p**p, please visit one of our retail locations 🥛
