My boys have fully entered their cowboy error. This summer, the unexpected passing of a mama cow has led to us having a bottle calf for the first time. Both boys were so helpful while trying to locate and care for both mama and baby. Bosque is always down for anything farm related and Brazos has really taken on a lot of responsibility (especially with me, Nancy, still mending from a broken ankle). The boys love going out and feeding on the sweet baby cow. Any name suggestions?

🌿🐮 New Life on the Farm! 🐮🌿

There’s nothing quite like the magic of new beginnings. Over the past few days, we’ve welcomed some fresh, wobbly-legged additions to the farm—healthy, happy baby calves! 🖤🤍 Watching them take their first steps, nuzzle up to their mamas, and soak in the warm Texas sun is a reminder of why we love this life.

Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes new growth, fresh grass, and the sound of little hooves running through the pasture. Stay tuned for more calf cuteness, because these little ones are just getting started!
