Fall Creek Farms

Fall Creek Farms Several months out of the year Fall Creek Farms open their 165 acre farm for the public to come and pick their own fruits. We are closed. See you in 2013.

Keep checking our Fb post for updates. Operation hours can vary due to inclement weather, production and availability.

To the masses who have wondered:

Peaches are NOT ready.

If you need something to blame: we encourage you to use the deer of southeastern Hood County and Pecan Plantation.

Mother Nature's a fickle lady, and you never know what you're gonna get.

And FYI: the website at www.upicktx.com is out of date. This page is your best source of information. Please keep that in mind.

If there are any peaches (that is, if the deer decide they've had their fill), then we'll open in July. We assure you, if that's to happen, we will tell you! No one wants to keep y'all from the peaches.

Thanks,
Fall Creek Farms Staff

Attention Strawberry Pickers:

We regret to inform you, that Fall Creek Farms' 2015 Strawberry Season has ended, effective immediately. There will be no open times this week, or any week until next spring. Unfortunately, we have to do this on account of both last week's perpetual rain, and because the plants are beginning to rot on the vine.

We'd like to thank you all for your undying support of the farm, and hope to see you this summer for peaches!

Thanks so much,
Fall Creek Farms

To everyone, especially those that have been asking:

We've got great news. We'll be open three more days this week!

Thursday (May 7) and Friday (May 8): 12 PM - 5 PM

Saturday (May 9): 9 AM - 5 PM (or until picked out)

If there is inclement weather on any of these days, or the fields are picked out, then we reserve the right to close earlier than the posted hours.

Thanks for all your support this season,

Hello to everyone!

There may be other hours this week, but for now all we know is that tomorrow (May 6) the fields will be open from 12 PM - 5 PM.

Hope you can make it!

05/05/2015

Attention Local Customers:

The fields will be open from now until 5 PM. If you can swing by, we'll see you in the next two hours.

We're sorry to report that tomorrow (Saturday, May 2) Fall Creek Farms WILL be CLOSED.

We understand that many of you were planning to come out tomorrow, and we apologize to mess up your plans.

There are simply not enough berries to open. However, just because we are barren this weekend, doesn't mean that that will be the case next week. It's our hope to be open a full 3 days.

The season is drawing to a close. We don't like to be unpredictable like this, but at times, we have no choice.

We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you all for your support,

Fall Creek Farms Staff

Attention to everyone:

We will NOT be open Friday. Instead, we'll be open tomorrow, Thursday (April 30) from 12 PM - 5 PM.

We WILL still be open on Saturday (May 2) from 9 AM - picked out

(Get there bright and early if you want to GUARANTEE your choice of berries).

Thanks,
Fall Creek Farms Staff

Hey pickers! Tomorrow we'll be open from 1 PM to 5 PM! It'll be muddy, so bring your best "pickin' boots".

See you there! Stay tuned for hours for Friday and Saturday....

04/25/2015

Just about 20 minutes have passed since we told you we'd be closing between 2 and 3, and in that time we've had enough customers to move that time up! We'll be closing between 1 and 2.

Sorry for the confusion.

The air is hot and humid after last night's storm, but that hasn't stopped everyone from coming out early. This day has already proved to be busy, and as a result, we estimate that we'll be picked out between 2 PM and 3 PM.

We'll have to close then. We can't stay open if there are no berries to pick! Come out early if you can, and if not, we'll see you next week.

We apologize if this inconveniences anyone.

Hello to everyone! Our hours this week will be:

Tomorrow, Wednesday (April 22): 1 PM to 6 PM

Friday (April 24): 1 PM - picked out

Saturday (April 25): 9 AM - picked out (last weekend, this happened around 3:00, so we recommend you come out earlier than that).

Bring your families. This one had so much fun!

We'd like to apologize for getting this post out semi-late in the evening, but nevertheless, here it is. As always, we reserve the right to close if picked out or if there is inclement weather.

If you are part of a large group or you are coming from a long distance, please come as early as possible. We can't wait for you if the fields are empty!

Thanks for your support!
