Since we are nearing the end of kidding season, we have finally decided on this year’s name theme: “Old-Fashioned” names 🐐🌿

We like to wait until each kid is at least one week old to be sure they’re healthy and to get a feel for their personalities before choosing the perfect name.
We’d love to hear your suggestions—naming time is coming up very soon! ✨

Clover shocked the heck out of us this year! We were expecting a single—but she surprised everyone by delivering two tiny bucklings and one doeling, all healthy and perfect.

Despite the surprise trio, Mom is handling everything like a champ and absolutely adoring each one. She’s already proving to be a calm, attentive, and proud mama.
We couldn’t be happier with how these little ones—and Clover—are doing!

Cara stuck to her roots this year—Grandpa Beau would be proud! On April 4, 2026, she welcomed two beautiful little doelings, both carrying the classic Hayes Hideaway look.

These girls are already showing off the traditional rich gold coloring and signature markings of their great-grandpa Beau and Grandpa Duke of Spiers Citadel. It’s always special to see those strong family traits shine through another generation.

We’re excited to watch these two grow and see what the future holds for them—they’re off to a wonderful start already.

May gave us a hearty, flashy buckling—complete with those striking blue eyes—on April 4, 2026! He’s already a chunky, good-looking boy and showing all the signs that he just might be sticking around Hayes Hideaway for the long haul.

This handsome little guy definitely has “future herd favorite” written all over him. Now the big question… what will his old-fashioned name be? Name day is coming soon!

Georgia gave us an amazing buckling on April 5, 2026! He had a bit of a rough start and needed some extra help with a bottle for the first few days, but then something clicked. Now he’s strong, thriving, and happily back to being well-fed by Mom—who absolutely adores him. 💙

It’s always special to watch one of these little fighters turn the corner and show just how tough they really are!

First-time momma Honey, our Mini Nubian, welcomed a stout, healthy little buckling on March 24, 2026.

And let’s just say… you’d never know she’s a first-timer! She jumped right into motherhood like a seasoned pro—attentive, loving, and completely smitten with her boy.

Mazey had a very interesting kidding story this year! Early in the morning on March 24, 2026, she delivered a healthy buckling and doeling. Around that same time, Sunny, our Mini Nubian, also delivered a healthy buckling… and somehow all three babies ended up with Mazey! 🐐🐐🐐

Mazey stepped right up and is proudly caring for the whole crew—even though it’s pretty clear one of these things is not like the others. 😄

Meanwhile, Sunny seems perfectly happy in her new role as the fun aunt, keeping an eye on her son and Honey’s boy while Mazey runs the nursery like a pro here at Hayes Hideaway.

Momma Blondie gave us a STUNNING doeling, on March 23, 2026 and she is already full of personality! Her beautiful coloring is turning heads, and she’s proving to be quite the little spitfire. ✨🐐
