Wow, what a day! Today was show day for our local Newton County Fair, and these kids rocked it! Gauge took 2nd in class with his crossbred gilt ( Mary Ann), then brought home RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION with his Poland gilt ( Fancy). The girls (Ava and Morgan) from C**nfoot farm show team showed them how it’s done! We couldn’t have made it all work without Ryders help getting sprayers and anything else he needed too. These kids worked amazing together today and I couldn’t be more proud of them all. Next up, State fair in Sedalia!!

Well Barry county didn’t go as planned this year. Gauge had a rough start to the week, he lost his registered Poland Gilt and it hit him pretty hard. The belted crossbred just wasn’t what the judge was looking for this weekend. C**nfoot farms show team had a nice run today, congratulations ladies!!! Next weekend Lawrence county, we’re coming for ya

Wow! What a way to kick off the 2024 show season! This kid showed up to show off Thursday night in Freistatt, MO with a second place win with his December crossbred named Mary Ann.

It’s always bitter sweet when show season comes to an end. This last weekend wrapped it up with these kids rockin it at their very first State Fair in Sedalia, Mo! I couldn’t be more proud of how they went in and represented Young Guns Show pigs and C**nfoot farms show team. We came out pretty good and the kids kicked some butt in the show ring with some of the top breeders in the state. Ya know, when they say it takes an army folks, they aren’t kidding. I can’t thank Tim and Emily Hines enough ( my amazing family) for taking Gauge under their wing this weekend. Now we can’t wait for show season 2024!

July 6th was show day for our local fair, The Newton County Fair. We were just shy of making the market sale for rate of gain but came out decent in other classes. Next up is State Fair in Sedalia, Mo!

Wow these boys came to Barry County to show today! Gauge came out with a 2nd with his Hamp gilt ( her first time in the show ring) and a 3rd with his crossbred gilt. Ryder came out with a 1st with his blue belted gilt. The boys at YOUNG GUNS SHOW PIGS and the ladies at C**n Foot Farm show team were rocking it today with the ladies staying on top of their classes. So proud of how great these kids worked together today!

Friday night these kids got to try out the new show trailer and showed up to Freistatt, MO ready to show some pigs! I’m so proud of their team work and willingness to help each other. We had the pleasure of watching some of pigs that came from our farrowing barn, and they whooped some tail!! So excited for those kiddos! We have a little break then off to Barry County the 24th!

Show #2 is in the books! It was a beautiful morning in Ash Grove, Mo. Ryder won 4th with his blue belted crossbred gilt ( Badger). Gauge had a big class with his crossbred but showed extremely well. We also got to watch a great kid show a fantastic barrow that came out of our barn.
