Tomatoes are coming in hot right now, and we are getting lots of requests for boxes. This year, we are doing b oxes of romas or boxes of our heirloom/artisian mix. We have packed up 11 # boxes and marked them WAAAAY down. Plus, this year we will let you use your CSA on them (if you have one). They're in the store and we will have a limited number of them at the Greenfield Farmers’ Market and Belchertown Farmers Market 🍅 this weekend.

It's official people. The Silver Queen Corn is here! We just got done picking (a little late today...sorry), and it is worth the wait! Nothing compares to late season corn varieties, and we all know that this one is the best of them all. Find it through the end of the season in our store or at Greenfield Farmers’ Market Belchertown Farmers Market 🍅 and the GFN Farmers Markets .

Had a great time at the Springfield Museums today, sampling tomatoes and talking about farming. We also loved watching the with their giant bubbles and their fun sing-a-longs!

Is it so hot that you are praying for snow? Yeah, me neither. A nice sweatshirt day with crunchy leaves under feet and a cup of warm mulled c***r in hand...yup. That I would take!

Thursday is for Senior CSA! We are so proud to have partnered with CISA and South Hadley Council on Aging on the Senior CSA for a sixth great year! Senior CSA provides low income seniors with a ten week Summer CSA that costs them only $1 per week. Each week, we curate a different selection of what we are harvesting here on the farm. It is one of our favorite things to do each week.

This year, we also got some help from the South Hadley Board of Health in the form of some awesome reusable bags, which have significantly reduced the quantity of disposable bags we use each week. Over the course of the 10 week CSA, we estimate that we will save 330 paper grocery bags and 1300 plastic produce bags!
