It's official people. The Silver Queen Corn is here! We just got done picking (a little late today...sorry), and it is worth the wait! Nothing compares to late season corn varieties, and we all know that this one is the best of them all. Find it through the end of the season in our store or at Greenfield Farmers’ Market Belchertown Farmers Market 🍅 and the GFN Farmers Markets .

Our store is open daily at 35 Amherst St, Granby MA!!

Had a great time at the Springfield Museums today, sampling tomatoes and talking about farming. We also loved watching the with their giant bubbles and their fun sing-a-longs!

PS, if you are the Mom we met who was there with "Ursa's biggest fan", send me a message and we will have you guys come by for a little tour and to meet some more animals.

Is it so hot that you are praying for snow? Yeah, me neither. A nice sweatshirt day with crunchy leaves under feet and a cup of warm mulled cider in hand...yup. That I would take!

Anyway, If you were a WINTER CSA MEMBER last year, please check your email for an important message from me. Regardless of your plans for this year, we would love your feedback on last year!

If you were not a Winter CSA Member last year, but want to be one this year, please stand by. We will have signup details available within the week!

Even if Winter CSA isn't for you, please enjoy this snowy photo of Kosmo acting like the Boss Babe she thinks she is.

Thursday is for Senior CSA! We are so proud to have partnered with CISA and South Hadley Council on Aging on the Senior CSA for a sixth great year! Senior CSA provides low income seniors with a ten week Summer CSA that costs them only $1 per week. Each week, we curate a different selection of what we are harvesting here on the farm. It is one of our favorite things to do each week.

This year, we also got some help from the South Hadley Board of Health in the form of some awesome reusable bags, which have significantly reduced the quantity of disposable bags we use each week. Over the course of the 10 week CSA, we estimate that we will save 330 paper grocery bags and 1300 plastic produce bags!

What do two farmers do on their first full day of vacation? Obviously hit the local farmers market. We brought a lot of our own veg, eggs and meat, but look at this haul! I got tomatoes, granola, cookies, nuts, maple syrup, jam, pickles, scape dip, flowers and most importantly, lobster, steamers and oysters! Gotta love it.

The good news is that while Dave, Niel and I are relaxing in Maine, the gang is holding down the fort back at home. Our store is still open every day, and you can still find our tent at and this week.

PLEASE PLAN AHEAD!!!!

In light of the incoming heat wave followed by the 4th of July, we are adjusting our hours for the week. We just can't rationalize asking our staff to work all afternoon when the heat index is 105°. Even though the store has AC, it isn't going to be able to keep up with all of that heat, and it seems unfair to ask the kids to sit in the hot store while all the field staff get the afternoon off. So....

WE WILL BE OPEN 9AM-12PM WEDNESDAY THRU SATURDAY (7/1-7/4).

Normally, we would be closed on July 4th, but we will be open a half day due to the reduced hours the rest of the week.

Thank you for your understanding!!!

Peas please! Dave and I are both such huge pea fans, it is honestly surprising that we don't eat them all in the field, long before you get a shot at them. Luckily, we are able to show SOME restraint and get most of them headed to your tables (but we still stop by to pick one or two every time we walk by).

Anyway, have you gotten your pea fix yet? We are currently picking sugar snap peas and snow peas. In the another few weeks, we will start picking shelling peas too. You can catch our peas at the store or at and

Peas not your thing? (😭 don't tell me...it breaks my heart every time) We've also got lots of strawberries, tomatoes, swiss chard, and all kinds of other awesome stuff too! Come see us!!

Our store is at 35 Amherst St, Granby MA and we are open 9A-6P Mon-Sat and 9A-5P Sun.
