Good afternoon everyone! Mary here with a kinda real life raw update.
As most of those who live around or are close friends know we had already been growing lillies, day lillies, and a few other miscellaneous flowers. Those who are close to us also know Ryan has had many health challenges within the last year. All in all life has given us a lot of lemons and we are doing our very best to make amazing proverbial lemonade, ie; grow Amazing flowers!
This summer I quickly learned to have the ability to put together boquets I needed to add flowers and make what I offer more diverse. We also do not have a tractor or any large farm type equipment to asisst with the more difficut tasks. So good ole elbow grease is how things like digging holes for the day lillies must be done.
This being said, winter is so close it seems silly to start a road side stand now, however I may list some dried flowers, excess seeds and crochet items for sale here.
I was definitely hoping and envisioning the first year going a lot differently than it has. But with the fact that I have been and am currently making changes so I will have a lot more variety next year pretty much by myself, it is taking a lot longer than I wanted it to.
