Today's match is about more than soccer—there's a fascinating connection between these two cultures that helped shape one of our favorite drinks: the michelada. 🍺

One of the ingredients that helped shape the michelada is soy sauce, a product with Asian roots that found its way into a drink that became part of Mexican culture.

Originally, a michelada was made with beer, lime, soy sauce, salt, and a little spice.
Over time, it evolved, and with Reyna's Micheladas Mix, we've brought those flavors together into a ready-to-enjoy mix.

Last week, as we attended the Gala, we reminisced about how much this community has meant to us throughout the years.

In 2024, our founder, Reyna Orellana of Aurora’s International Foods / Reyna’s Micheladas Mix, was honored with the Hispanic Business of the Year recognition.

In 2025, Reyna’s Micheladas Mix became part of the celebration as our michelada was featured as the signature drink of the night.

And this year, we attended as participants — celebrating, connecting, and witnessing the amazing rise of new businesses in our community.

To all the entrepreneurs and businesses recognized this year… congratulations 👏
We can’t wait to celebrate with a michelada with all of you.
