My cousin posted a Polish recipe (which she frequently does) for a Plum Torte. I had a bunch of plums from the farmers market, so I decided to give it a go today. I modified it to be a lavender plum torte because I want to keep experimenting w our culinary lavender. Y’all! It is soooo good! The original recipe is linked in the comments along w the lavender modifications.

We have three “projects” w the farm: growing lavender (which you’ve heard a lot about lately!), growing chestnuts, and being good stewards of these 80 acres. Each of these goals had required lots of learning for me and Sean and has led us to a love affair w oaks. It’s a BIG Saturday for us! We will be at TWO events! Find us at Allendale's Mitten Market at Trail Point Brewing Company on M-45 from 10-2:00 then later that evening at Lakeside Markets Flea Market from 5-10 PM. We will have our lavender products at both events.
