While we will greatly miss seeing our neighbors, friends, and faithful customers who have become like family to us, we are shifting our business model to online-only. It has been one of our greatest joys and privileges to serve you at our downtown Grand Island location, and we look forward to continuing to serve you through our shipping and local delivery options. A few weeks ago, Laban Njuguna lost his Dad and traveled to Kenya abruptly. We have had some unique challenges this January, especially with fulfilling orders promptly due to staffing shortages, shortened hours of operation, and weather-related factors.

We want to take this opportunity to apologize to all our esteemed customers for the delayed responses and delays with order fulfillment. Zabuni exists because many coffee farmers are underpaid and undervalued. We believe the farmers deserve recognition for their tireless work and are determined to give them direct access to the market. With Zabuni, farmers receive 80-85% of green coffee sales. The alternative is only 15-25% of sales. We also believe people want to buy ethically and Zabuni is a platform where people can do so.
