A little bit about me
Love for horses started at the age of 4. We had gone through several “kid safe” ponies until we found the right one. She was a Shetland pony that was blind in one eye saved from the auction. I rode that little mare everywhere. She took care of me and my love of horses blossomed.
Through my late middle school years and into high school I started picking up project horses to work with until I got them too broke then I would re-home them. I read every book and magazine I could find about horses and also watched several training videos. I continued in 4H until I aged out but was still craving more knowledge about these wonderful creatures.
Soon after high school I found the University of Findlay offered a western horse program. I enrolled in their bachelor program and rode quite a few horses with different backgrounds and breeding. I have had the honor to ride and learn from some great horse people like Clark Bradley, Steve Brown, Art O’Brian, Stacy Westfall, as well as others. While there I became president of the Stock Horse team and competed in the open collegiate division for Findlay Stock Horse Team.
