Calling all farmers, fisherfolk, and food business hopefuls in Cook County!

We are excited to announce a grant opportunity for food producers in Cook County. The Cook County Local Producer Support Fund aims to to increase the amount of food being grown/ produced and distributed in our community. New and established businesses are encouraged to apply.

Yay! It's December, Manidoo-Giizisoons, the Little Spirit Moon! Bring on the ice, snow, and wind.

This month we are rounding up for the Grand Marais food shelf! This one needs no introduction or explanation. Let's help feed our family, friends, and neighbors.

Friday, December 5th we have a ton going on:

1. Holiday Open House! Stop by between 2-5pm for store-wide samples, free treats from our deli, and holiday music by Erik Hahn and friends.
++
2. Owner rebates will be available on your accounts! Just use those up by November 30, 2026. You can spend the money on your groceries, donate it to an organization like the Food Shelf, or have us send you a check with that amount (rebate must be over $10 to qualify to be sent to you as a check).
++
3. All owners get a coupon for $15 your purchase of $100 or more - applied automatically at the register! Use this between December 5th - December 19th. One-time use only.
