This is a S'more inspired cake.
Marble cake with layers of ganache and graham crackers with marshmallow frosting.

It was delivered "plain" and the family did a beautiful job on the finishing touch

I have had a few late evenings either roasting coffee or finishing up specialty cakes.
Working with headphones in a quiet bakery was a bit of a trip down memory lane. I love the current bustle, but.....quiet is nice also 😉

Sunday is team blue!

Thank you to all who had patience for your coffee this AM as back up showed up. I gave it my all!
Thank you Destry for working an extra day to be back up barista.
Thank you Chance for staying an extra hour to help with dishes. Thank you to my Romanian kitchen for holding down the fort, with a great attitude. We had catering and events this weekend, along with staple staff taking time off (well deserved), so this mighty crew faught through the weekend.

This post is a little late.....but, we had a busy week!

Does everyone know that Brianna and I won the Women's category of the fish toss!
This event is such a fun way to close out the weekend. Though we were all exhausted and trying to close shop, we ran out the doors to toss some fish.
Brianna and I plan to hold our winning title next year 💪

Thank you so much to those who came to celebrate with us today!

It has been a busy two years with amazing community support and a great crew. I'd like to give a shout out to my head baker Destry. She is the one there nearly every morning tasking out the day, problem solving, and bread queen. She is the reason I get the spend the mornings with my kids and family, which I feel so grateful for. Anni and Emma have been with me, running the front since opening day. Emma leaves for college in a few weeks and I'm not sure what we will do without her! Chloe and Brianna, also with me since a few months before opening day, keep our croissants and cakes stocked. I truly don't know what I would do without them. Cheers to many more birthdays to come!
